Alright, well maybe not all types of pasta, but I do have some very good news for you pasta lovers out there. I recently
came across a very special type of asian noodle that a lot of people have been substituting for regular pasta these days. The name you ask? It’s called Shirataki Noodles and have actually been linked to lower cholesterol, and even lower the amount of insulin produced after a meal.
Not only that, but one bag of Shirataki noodles contains about 40 calories, and only 3 grams of carbs! They also contain almost no fat, sugar, protein or gluten. And although the noodles do contain carbohydrates, the great thing is very little of it is digested in the small intestine.
You can now make your favourite pasta dishes without the guilty feeling;)

Here’s to eating sensibly well, but still enjoying the finer things in life…like pasta!
